WELCOME TO AUGUST 2008 AT TASTE GOURMET Hello, Welcome to the last weeks of winter on the Coast. While there may be a hint of Spring as the daffodils and bulbs make a colourful appearance, the mornings and evenings still have a real chill. The good news is it's warm, cosy and dry at Taste Gourmet. We have lots of ideas to keep you warm and well fed and and our Winter menu will entice you in and keep you coming back! There is some very special news for all of our regular customers - we are now open very Friday night for dinner! We have a special dinner menu with some of our lunchtime favorites, so what not book a table for this Friday. Michele, Brian and the Team
OUR MOST POPULAR PROMOTION EVER IS BACK!
If you were a Food Club Member last July, you'll remember our great Jigsaw promotion. If you have joined since then, let me explain. Early July, you'll receive your newlsetter with a jigsaw piece inside. We have bought three identical jigsaws. We are completing one, and will mail all the pieces from the other two to you. We will have the almost completed jigsaw on display in store and if your piece matches on of our missing pieces, you win a big prize.
We are giving away lots of lots of prizes, and even if your piece doesn't match, you will still get a great consolation prize. This is great fun for winter and we will be starting soon. Sharon has been doing the display jigsaw (1000 pieces) for us (it's a really big job) and it will be on display in store when she is finished. More details next week!
15% OFF IN THE CAFE ON SUNDAYS We are now offering 15% off in the Café each and every Sunday for all Food Club members. Sundays are a great day to visit. We have the Sunday papers to read and there's time for a leisurely breakfast, brunch or lunch, and a second coffee. Don't forget we are BYO so you can indulge with your favourite wine or beer. We are open from 9.30am to 3.30pm each Sunday. You receive 15% off the entire menu ALL SUNDAY (eat in only)! (You must be a Food Club member - Discount not available with other discounts or offers).For a quick meal on a cold Winter evening, head for our take home fridge and freezer and choose everything you need. ARE YOU MISSING OUR BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS If you are a member of our Food Club, are you receiving e-mail newsletters from us a couple of times a month? If not, it’s may be that we don’t have your email address, (or maybe not the correct one! Sometimes it’s hard to decipher your writing!) We send out updates to the newsletter about additional events and activities, and better still about new discounts and specials available to Food Club members through the month. These are often specials and extras that happen after our newsletter has already been printed. If you are not getting e-mail updates from us, send us an e-mail and we will add you to the list. E-mail us at foodclub@tastegourmet.com.au. Remember, your information is private and we never share it with anyone, ever! SOME CHANGES You will see some changes in the faces at Taste over the week. Liz is leaving us to concerntrate on her HSC and year 11 studies, as a much loved member of our crew we will miss her and we wish her well the the exams ahead. Laura is leaving us temporarily for a grand tour of Europe (she will be back in the New Year).Annie has now joined us, again a much welcomed addition and will be with us pretty much full time, mainly on weekdays but also for Friday night dinners. Our team is now Maggie, Antoinette, Farran, Annie, Sophie and our management team of Brian, Michele and Sharon. We are lucky to have the best staff on the Coast and we hope you appreciate them as much as we do!
