From our own kitchen, the Taste Gourmet range expands with a host of new products.We now make Zucchini Pickles, new Country Ploughman's Pickle, CaramelisedRed Onion, Red Wine Vinegar and Port Jam, Blackberry & Bourbon Dessert Sauce, Touch of Chilli Barbeque Sauce and Sweet Hot Chilli Sauce.
From South Australia's Beerenberg Farms, a new selection of jams , chutneys, sauces, marmalades and jams including Apricot Jam, Blackberry Jam, Lime & Lemon Orange Marmalade, Raspberry Jam, Strawberry Jam, Australian Mango Chutney, Fruit Chutney, Hot Tomato Chutney, Tomato Chutney, Green Tomato Pickle, Mustard Pickle, BBQ Sauce, Chilli Sauce, Hot Tomato Sauce, Plum and Shiraz Sauce and Marinade and Tomato Sauce.
From Italian food maker Colavita, new Vino Cotto, FigVino Cotto, and Apple Balsamic. Plus a new range of extra virgin and infused olive oils, including Truffle Oil, Garlic Olive Oil and Basil Olive Oil.
Plus there’s a huge new range of authentic Indian Curries, Curry sauces and Curry pastes from the acclaimed Maharajah’s Choice. There are also new Indian pickles, relishes and chutneys as well as pappadums and chapatti in the range.

We have always stocked the fabulous James Road chocolate dipped oranges, strawberries and apricots, now try the new Chocolate Fudge Cookies. These are the best choc cookie I have ever had - (sorry Mum)!

We promised great new products in the Taste Gourmet range and they are now on the shelves. The first eleven of about 50 new products were produced last weekend and are already walking off the shelves. Perfect for that special Easter dessert, we have:

MARCH
Our cheese range continue to expand, with new goats and sheep milk cheeses on the shelves. Try the Meredith Dairy Sheep Milk Feta, Binnorie Labna and Italian Buffalo Mozzarella. Also new arrived in the deli this week we have award winning Pancetta, Pastrami and Corned Beef and Hot Spanish Salami.And if you haven’t tried our Prosciutto, you don’t know what you are missing.
We are substantially expanding our range of Central Coast and region products.As a local producer ourselves, we believe it is important that local products and local producers be encouraged, nurtured and promoted. we believe that locally-produced products are better for the environment and help sustain and support local communities. So, new in store this week is the West Gosford based Winter Park range of jams and honeys. Winter Park’s Sharon Pollitt is the creator of these great products, and honey came in still warm from being bottled on Friday. You can’t get fresher than that. The home style chunky jams are also good and include a special fig jam! We look forward to have them as a permanent addition to our shelves.
Here at Taste Gourmet we also launching a new addition to our range - we currently have around 400 products under our label; and we are now adding around 50 hand made exotic fruits in syrup desserts, onion marmalades, caramelised balsamics, infused herb vinegars and more. Many of these products contain fruits, vegetables and herbs grown by our own family here on the Coast so it doesn’t get more local than that! The new range will be available over the next few weeks so keep an eye open!
Tasty Cheese Biscuits - These really moreish cheese biscuits are about to become your special favorite. They come in three fabulous varieties, Tasty Cheese with Parmesan and Cheddar, Tasty Cheese with Lemon Myrtle, and Tasty Cheese with Smoked Garlic and Herbs de Provence. These biscuits are made completely by hand, with premium ingredients, no preservatives and artificial flavors here. But, a warning! They may look harmless, but these little biscuits are seriously addictive! They are available for tasting at our front counter and so far, everyone who has tasted them has had to take a pack (or two) home! Make sure you try them next time you are in store!

We have lots of new goodies on the shelves this month including our own Caramelised Onion Marmalade. We make this ourselves and it features on our Café menu. It’s available to tasting in store and is fabulous with steak, on burgers, with roast beef or oven baked potatoes. Also we have a new range of jams and marmalades from the Snowy Mountains Alpine Berry Farm. Berry farmers turned jam makers, these jams are a delightful addition to the breakfast table. Flavours include Lemon & Lime Marmalade, and Blood Orange Marmalade, Five Berry Jam, Raspberry Jam and Strawberry Jam!
