Our range of fresh deli and take home items is extensive including gourmet small goods & meats, Australian & imported cheeses, antipasto, tapenades, dips, gourmet ice-cream, sorbets and more.
Gourmet meal options include fresh hand made egg pastas, gourmet ravioli, Asian yum cha, pasta sauces, Indian curry sauces, home style soups, gourmet pies, quiches and filos, pestos, garden salads and vegetable kebabs. Choose from hand baked biscuits, artisan sourdough breads, Italian and rye breads, Turkish pide breads, Indian style naan breads, cakes and much more!
Our smallgoods range is growing daily and we offer a range of pre sliced and sliced to order cold meats. Our sliced meats range includes Simply the Best’s award winning Gold Label leg ham, honey ham, 97% fat free Virginian ham, and sliced ham off the bone, premium roast pork, roast beef, roast lamb and roasted turkey breast, salamis including Hungarian (hot and mild), Danish and pepperoni, devon, strasbourg and more. We also offer premium prosciutto, and from AC Butchery shaved pancetta and coppa, along with organic bacon and pastrami from Barossa Fine Foods.
Our cheese cabinet is growing each day with a selection of Australia’s most sought after cheese and selected hard to find farmhouse and imported cheeses. Our brands include the award winning King Island Dairy, Lemnos, South Cape and Tilba cheeses, including cheddars, soft cheeses, fettas and blues. We also stock the Hunter’s own Binnorie Dairy Labna (marinated yoghurt balls), and marinated fetta, alongside Tasmania’s Ashgrove wild wasabi and mountain pepper cheddars, and the Jindi supreme triple cream brie, awarded best in the world. Our imported cheeses include France’s Gabriel Coulet Roquefort and Italian Grana Padano and Parma Reggianno.
Our growing selection of antipasto includes a large range of olives, pitted, staffed and marinated, premium char-grilled and marinated capsicum and eggplant, marinated balsamic onions, black and Kalamata olive tapenades, semi dried tomatoes, marinated artichoke hearts, dolmades, anchovies and quince, fig, plum and cabernet pastes. We also stock cornichons and gherkins and a wide range of pestos and exotic tapenades from King Valley Foods.
Pair these with a large range of crispbreads and grissini from artisan and specialist bakeries such as Brassiere Bakery and Kurrajong Kitchens, Baylies of Strathalbyn, Falwasser and South Cape.
For those with a serious gourmet palate, we have imported Italian truffles, marinated snails, pickled walnuts, Moroccan lemons, French Lescure butter and more. We have fresh free range eggs, fresh pasta, fresh pestos and salsas, and Maggie Beer's famous Pheasant farm pates.
TASTE GOURMET TAKE HOME
We are all busy these days but we can still always eat well. Try some of our take home meal suggestions; quicker and cheaper than takeaway and you can still do a little bit of cooking if you choose. We have pasta, pies, yum cha, curries, quiches, soups, salads and much more!
Feel like Italian tonight? We have fresh flat pastas and pasta sauces, a range of pestos and a delightful range of gourmet raviolis including roast duck, ginger and star anise, beef, caramelised onion and red wine and prawns chilli lime and lemongrass. Simply cook in boiling water, add the sauce and couple with some of our fresh baked Italian bread.
Got a craving for good Asian food? We have a selection of Lotus and Ming’s popular yum cha including Peking duck spring roles, salt & pepper prawn har gow and smokey barbeque pork buns. Couple with a dipping sauce from our Asian range and dinner is served.
If you are in the mood for Indian, try our authentic samosas and pakoras, made by award winning Jewel of India restaurant. Wee are have their great sauces including korma, butter and tandoori. We also have fully cooked curries, just add rice (we have basmati rice ready to cook). Add a chutney or pickle from our extensive range and grab some pappadums or naan to complete your quick and easy gourmet meal.
For even quicker and easier meals we have individual and family sized gourmet pies from the award winning Simmone Logue, hand made quiches, home style soups, and fully cooked filos including chicken pesto and sundried tomato. Couple with a freshly made salad from our deli bar (choose from our Chef’s Green Salad, Mediterranean Greek Salad or Classic Caesar Salad) and a crusty wood-fired sourdough or cob bread.
For dessert choose from our range of Serendipity ice creams and sorbets including tiramisu ice-cream and blood orange sorbet. For a cheese plate, choose a ripe cheese from our cheese cabinet and couple with some sun dried muscatels or Iranian baby figs. Or grab a decadent triple chocolate brownie or chocolate coconut tart, serve warm with vanilla bean ice-cream and a drizzle of our own Taste Gourmet chocolate and grand-marnier dessert sauce.
For a complete night off from cooking, grab a take home version of our warm Moroccan lamb salad with tangy lemon yoghurt dressing or our Thai Sweet Chilli Chicken Salad with chilli lime dressing. These are made to order while you wait for absolute freshness.

Taste Gourmet to Go features an exciting selection of ready-to-eat and ready-to-heat chef prepared foods like individual quiche, hand made pizzas, gourmet pies, creamy frittatas, hand made open tarts, home style lasagne, fresh made salads, lentil patties, and other indulgent yet convenient fare. Some selections are ideal for enhancing a home cooked meal while others provide a full meal to go. Take-away was never this good. We stock East Gosford’s largest range of artisan and specialist breads sourced from leading specialist bakeries.A number of customers have been surprised to learn we have fresh baked bread in store every day including Sunday. We source our speciality artisan breads from the best bakers.
Our Italian bread from one baker, our Turkish Pide Breads from an authentic Turkish baker and our Sourdoughs and ryes from leading specialist wood-fired bakers.
Bread is delivered fresh every morning (yes really, even on Sunday). Any bread remaining from the day is discounted to 50% off late each afternoon and the next day! We have authentic Italian crusty pane di casa, chewy pagnotta loaves and soft house loaves, award winning wood fired sourdough loaves including cheese and vegetable, wholegrain and rye, Turkish pide including breads and rolls, French style baguettes, fluffy white cobs, and Polish and German ryes. On weekends, we also have fresh baked Lebanese flat breads and Indian naan.
